Mercury Filling Decay & Corrosion

This is typically what a tooth looks like underneath a mercury filling/amamlgam that has been in a tooth for many years.

There is a combination of decay and corrosion staining from the metal in the dentin of the tooth.

This shows how the tooth looks like after it has been properly cleaned and restored with a ceramic inlay, made during the same appointment with our CEREC CAD/CAM technology.
